Developer Andy Fuchs has released a new version (1.2.2) of Realbasic Internet Config (R.I.C), an Internet configuration system for REALbasic developers. REALbasic is the editing environment from Real Software.
The most important change to RIC is that it’s now compatible with Mac OS X 10.0.2 (or higher) and works in REALbasic 3.x (or newer), Fuchs said. The system is free and now available for download.
The Internet Configuration System was designed to make your life easier by reducing the number of times you need to enter your Internet preferences into the various preferences dialogs of all your Internet applications, Fuchs said. The goal of the system was to allow various applications to get info from one common place and to give users a tool to edit these common preferences.
