Painter Classic is a special version of Corel’s natural media painting software. The software is included with Wacom’s Cintiq, Intuos2 and Graphire2 graphics tablets shipping worldwide.
Calling the new bundle “an unparalleled creative combination,” executive vice president of partner relations for Procreate Steve Houck suggested that the deal would give Wacom customers an idea of what they can do with Painter 7, the newest major release of the software. The bundle also offers Wacom tablet buyers with an upgrade path to Painter 7 for US$149.
Painter Classic runs natively on Mac OS X 10.1 or higher. It’s also compatible with Mac OS 9.2.2.
