PC Mall plans to open a new corporate showroom/retail store at its headquarters at 2555 W 190th St., Torrance, California.
PC Mall, the parent company of the MacMall, will mark the event by giving away US$20,000 worth of prizes at its grand opening celebration that runs November 29 through December 1. The corporate showroom/retail store will feature computer systems from Apple, as well as Wintel vendors such as Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Toshiba and Sony.
Plans call for the store to showcase and offer seminars on such technologies and trends as wireless and Bluetooth networking, PDAs, server solutions, storage solutions, design/print solutions, video editing solutions, digital audio solutions, digital photography solutions and tablet PCs.
PC Malls says the corporate showroom/retail store will carry a thousand peripherals, including printers, displays, storage devices, camcorders, digital cameras, MP3 players, consumer electronics, and handheld organizers products from manufacturers such as Apple, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, Sony, Epson, Viewsonic, NEC, Cisco, 3Com, Linksys, Canon, Nikon, LaCie and others. You’ll also be able to choose from “over 750 titles for the Macintosh and 1,000 titles for Windows.”
PC Mall’s retail store in Santa Monica, California (1505 Wilshire Blvd) and its warehouse outlet in Memphis, Tennessee (4715 E. Shelby Drive) will also take part in the grand opening celebration by offering special deals, product demos and prize drawings. Store hours for all locations will be from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm on November 29-November 30 and December 1 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
