Macropod Software has released KoalaCalc 3.0, a major update to their multipurpose calculator for Mac OS X.

KoalaCalc is a multipurpose calculator with scientific, conversion and statistical functions and support for speech and voice recognition. Distributed as freeware, KoalaCalc has close to 10,000 users already, according to its developer.
The new version of KoalaCalc adds a new, redesigned interface, numerous new features and bug fixes. New sound effects have been added, the math tab button layout has been rearranged, the appearance of various buttons and features have been changed, and much more — a complete list of changes is included with the download.
Non-English localizations are also new to the 3.0 version release — Italian and Spanish versions are now available, and the developer encourages others to volunteer to help with other language conversions.
