LaserSoft Imaging AG has announced support for Heidelberg desktop scanners for its SilverFast Ai 6 scanning software. The support has been added to Silverfast Ai for Mac OS 9, Mac OS X 10.2 and Windows.

SilverFast 6 includes features like dust and scratch removal, selective color correction with multiple layers and masking, adaptive color restoration, and much more. It also uses QuickTime movies to show you how corrections can be applied.
SilverFast is bundled with scanners from major manufacturers including Epson, Microtek, Nikon, Umax and others. It’s also available for general retail sale.
SilverFast 6 works with Heidelberg desktop scanners including: Jade, Jade II, Saphir, Saphir Ultra, Saphir Ultra II, Saphir HiRes, Linoscan 1200 (OS9), Linoscan 1400, Linoscan 1450, Linoscan 1800 (HighRes), LinoScan 2200, LinoScan 2650, LinoScan 2400XL and Opal Ultra.
