Apple is opening a retail outlet in Old Pasadena, California, on January 7, according to a SGVTribune Business article.
The 6,000-square-foot store, located at 54 W. Colorado Blvd., will open during the week of the Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco. It will be the 10th Apple outlet in California and the 50th in the U.S.
“We’re so excited to be in Old Pasadena,” Ron Johnson of Apple said. “We’ve been eyeing Pasadena, but we were waiting to find a good location.’
The store is going into a mid- block space that has been vacant for more than two years, according to Maggie Campbell, president and chief executive officer of the Old Pasadena Management District. Apple has restored the storefront’s facade to its original condition, the store’s interior has been given an Italian stone floor, and it incorporates designs from other stores.
