Hosted by the South Jersey Apple Users Group (SJAUG), this event will welcome MUGSNJ, SJAUG and other area User Groups to one major night at The Allied Health Engineering and Technologies Center. Topics will include “Making the Move to OS X — Mac or PC” and a post-MacWorld Expo discussion featuring new product info and updates.
The South Jersey Apple Users Group supports all Apple computers, from the SE to the PowerBook G4. They’re a group of approximately 100 professional and casual users who meet each month to share information, tips, news and more. Mid-Atlantic MUG Team was originally formed in 1998 to promote cooperative efforts, community, collective events and camaraderie between Macintosh User Groups in Pennsylvania’s Delaware Valley area.
After growing to become The Tri-State MUG Team in 2000 and, ultimately to the Mid-Atlantic MUG Team, MaMUGs now incorporates MUGs from CT to VA. MaMUGs also works in tandem with other User Group organizations and works to be a resource for Macintosh users everywhere, East said.
Also, photos and an iMovie from User Group University at the 2002 Macworld Conference & Expo in New York, as well as Garr Reynolds’ visit to Hershey Apple Core, have been posted to the MaMUGs Web site. Reynolds is manager of Worldwide User Group Relations for Apple. All items can be viewed by clicking on the “Events” page.
