Dubbed the Apple Maintenance Program (AMP), the plan allows Institutions using Mac OS X to automatically receive all major upgrades at a reduced price, according to the email.
A three-year subscription-based service, the program is targeted toward institutions with 10 or more seats. AMP contracts can be purchased directly from an Apple sales representative or directly from Apple, and they can also be purchased at the same time 10 or more computer systems are purchased. To enroll in AMP, you must be using the most current major release of Mac OS X.
Costs to enroll in the program are 10-99 seats $147; 100-999 seats $117; and 1000+ seats $87
For more information or to enroll, you can contact your Apple sales representative or call 800-800-2775.
