Zebra Development has released Storyboard Lite, a new application aimed at filmmakers, game developers, advertising agencies and other companies looking for a way to visually illustrate sequential images.

Artwork from traditional media can be imported into Storyboard Lite, according to the developer. Storyboard Lite can then be used to organize and modify hand-drawn storyboards. The software can also be used to create storyboards in three dimensions through the use of a library of props and characters. Directors can change camera views by moving virtual cameras within the scene, as well.
Screenplays can be imported as well, and Storyboard Lite can automatically break them down into scenes within the project. You can then storyboard while keeping the screenplay in sync.
