As the Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco gets underway, Discreet Inc. today updated combustion 2, the company’s unified paint, animation, and 3D compositing software. It’s been repriced, too.
Designed for use in television and feature film, combustion 2 is used for resolution-independent vector-based paint, animation and composition. Previously, the software cost US$1,495. Now Discreet has sliced the price to $995.
Version 2.1 — which adds some performance tweaks — is offered as a free update for combustion 2 customers. It’s available for purchase at Discreet’s e-store.
