Green Building Concepts, a company that offers information exchange for building a more resource and energy efficient homes, is launching its Web site today to coincide with the start of the Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco.

Based in North Hollywood, California, Green Building Concepts can, using Mac-based solutions, “integrate home and small business systems to reach the computer network, home office, and digital hub dreams of customers around the globe,” per the company’s mission statement. They provide computer and residential construction consulting.
“At Comdex 2002 in Las Vegas, I was fortunate enough to hear Apple Computer and Microsoft discuss the future of the digital home (music sharing, home automation, home server, and the digital hub),” President Ismael Rosales told MacCentral. “The Mac is many years ahead of Microsoft in tight integration of software and hardware. In response to this, I’ve expanded my business to consulting on Mac OS-based solutions and home building.”
He said that Green Building Concepts specializes in: Mac OS X, immersive imaging featuring QuickTime VR, digital photography workflow, ColorSync analysis and color fidelity, “sustainable” architecture product selection, home automation, Web site design, energy usage analysis, electronic cinematography, and “everything in between the computer and the home for the creative professional.” Green Building Concepts participated in the Eco Expo West 1997 Environmental World’s Fair Exposition, Tradeshow, and Conference by creating the media for a resource and energy efficient demonstration home.
