Aurora’s cards are designed to work hand-in-hand with digital video editing software like Apple’s Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere, and are compatible with Apple’s QuickTime media technology. The Igniter line comprises several different cards with various capabilities and input/output support.
What’s more, OS X support means that systems equipped with the cards that perform previews of uncompressed video, and IgniterRT users can play many QuickTime-supported formats directly from an editing timeline out through all available outputs including SDI, Component, S-Video and Composite, simultaneously, in either PAL or NTSC video formats.
For details on the Igniter cards, go to the Aurora Web site. The Mac OS X upgrades are also online.
