Following Immersion Corp.’s December announcement noting the addition of force feedback support to Mac OS X 10.2.3, peripheral maker Logitech has acknowledged that its line of force feedback controllers are supported by the Mac now.

Supported Logitech products include the MOMO Racing and WingMan Formula Force GP racing wheels — the perfect accessories to add some realistic action to two of the first three Mac games to emerge with force feedback support: Feral Interactive’s F1 Championship Season 2000 (distributed by MacPlay in North America) and Aspyr Media’s NASCAR Racing 2002 Season.
What’s more, Logitech’s WingMan RumblePad and Cordless RumblePad are certified to work on the Mac. Both devices are gamepads. And joysticks are included in the mix, too, specifically LogiTech’s WingMan Strike Force 3D and Force 3D joysticks.
Logitech, like many other peripheral makers, licenses force feedback technology from Immersion Corp., which produces “TouchSense” technology.
