“The Way It’s Meant to Be Played” is a promotional logo program that singles out games that purportedly play the best on Nvidia hardware, like what’s included in flat-panel iMacs, eMacs, some Power Mac G4s and Apple’s new PowerBook G4s.
Aspyr president Michael Rogers calls the combination of Nvidia technology and Aspyr games tough to beat. “By featuring ‘The Way It’s Meant to Be Played’ logo on selected retail packaging in the future, we’re letting gamers easily locate where the best gaming experiences for the Mac can be found,” he said.
Apple’s new 17 inch and 12 inch aluminum-clad PowerBook G4s are the first PowerBooks to feature Nvidia’s mobile graphics technology. The 17 inch model sports the GeForce4 440 Go chip, and the 12 inch model sports the GeForce4 420 Go chip.
