Blacksmith, a company that develops commercial and custom software for Mac OS X, showcased Chartsmith 1.1, its charting and graphing application for Mac OS X, at this week’s Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco.

Version 1.1 boasts several new chart types (including scientific and business chart types), integration with Microsoft Excel, trend lines, and error bars. It has support for drag-n-drop features, Mac OS X Services, and AppleScript.
“With the growing popularity of Apple products and the elegance of the Aqua interface, Mac OS X products and services are extremely well positioned to have a break out year in 2003,” said Tony Rennier, President and CEO of Blacksmith.
