@Last Software have updated their SketchUp 3D design software for Mac OS X to version 2.2, which adds expanded drag and drop capabilities and a new texture palette to the Apple Color Picker that enables creation and management of custom material libraries.

Now you can do things such as drag and drop images right from iPhoto into your SketchUp model for use as backgrounds or textures. And drag and drop support for a wide range of raster image types such as PDF, PSD, PICT, EPS, TGA, SGI, and BMP have been added. Version 2.2 adds a Color By Layer feature for assignment of a material to a layer.
SketchUP 2.2 also adds: customizable keyboard shortcuts; an editable value control box; export options for DWG, DXF and 3DS formats; enhanced template support; drawing style preferences; vector printing and PDF output from Wire frame and Hidden Line display modes; and a plug-in for RIB export
