CTM Development has updated their PowerMail e-mail client to version 4.1.1.
The new version of the “alternative to ordinary Macintosh e-mail applications” offers improvements in importing of PowerMail 3 databases, scripting, compatibility with Mac OS 8.6 and the German language user interface. PowerMail 4.1.1 also includes inline spell-checking on Mac OS X 10.2 or later; integration of the Mac OS X 10.2 Address Book; unlimited undo in text fields; and more.
Version 4.1.1 is a free update to registered users of PowerMail 4.x; new copies of PowerMail are US$49. Version 4.x is the first for-pay upgrade of PowerMail since April 2000; all current registered owners of PowerMail prior to version 4.x are eligible to upgrade for $29 per copy (discounts for site licenses are available). Also, version 4.0 is a free upgrade for anyone who bought PowerMail 3.1.2 since April 15.
