SafariMasks enables you to choose a new theme — click install, and you can use new navigation buttons in Safari. Because Safari only works in Mac OS X (10.2 or later), SafariMasks only supports Mac OS X 10.2 or later as well.
Released almost a week ago at Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, Calif., Safari is Apple’s own implementation of a standards-compliant Web browser. Built around KHTML using open source code, Safari is optimized for speed, rendering Web pages at up to three times faster than Microsoft Internet Explorer. The software is available from Apple’s Web site as a public beta version. Safari has already garnered more than 500,000 downloads since its release.
Distributed as shareware, SafariMasks costs US$10 to register.
