Minolta-QMS Inc. has introduced the magicolor 2350 EN, a US$1,099 color laser printer with built-in networking and support for multiple platforms, including the Mac.

The magicolor 2350 EN sports 9600 x 600 dot per inch resolution and uses polymer-based toner, according to Minolta-QMS. It also supports PostScript 3, PCL 6 (with PJL) and PDF emulation.
The magicolor 2350 EN features 4 page per minute color output and 18 page per minute output in black and white. 10/100baseTX Ethernet printing is built in, as is a USB and parallel interface. It includes 128MB RAM standard, with up to 384MB RAM optional. It can also add a hard disk drive for additional functionality.
It also sports a 200-sheet multipurpose input tray that works with plain paper, envelopes, labels, transparencies and heavier stock as well. Minolta-QMS also offers a 500-sheet paper feeder and automatic duplex unit, in case you need two sided printing.
PageScope Net Care is the software used to manage and monitor the printer; it’s Web-based software that admins can use to configure the printer, set options, and get updated information about the status of the printer’s consumables and any necessary maintenance.
