The networking specialists at Tenon Intersystems are bundling iTools 6.5.7, their Apache configuration software for Mac OS X 10.2.3, with Post.Office 3.5.3, their mail server and list server software for Mac OS X, at a special price of US$742, a savings of $150.
The limited-time bundle also includes David Pogue’s “Mac OS X: The Missing Manual,” an Apache Feather Brooch, and unlimited technical support on both products for one year.
Tenon’s iTools provides a Web-based graphical user interface, as well as an Aqua iTools Manager, for configuration and management of Apache, DNS, and FTP. Post.Office features spam filtering and support for IMAP, and features header and message body-based regular expression filtering that enables administrators to manage unwanted e-mail, as well as users.
Also, iTools 7 is in public beta. It supports the new Apache 2, with enhanced scalability, and such new features as domain-specific administration and built-in Web traffic log summary reports. A license for iTools 7 is included in Tenon’s bundled offer.
