Ken Winograd and Space-Time Associates — best known for shareware games like Brickles and Hang3000 — have released TinyBooks 1.0. It’s a new accounting and bookkeeping program aimed specifically at sole proprietors, home and other small businesses who want to use their Macs to balance their books.
TinyBooks works with Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X, and sports a simple single-entry bookkeeping program. The software generates income and expense reports, complete account listings with profitability automatically calculated, custom reports and more.
A free trial of TinyBooks is available for download now, and it requires Mac OS 8.6 or higher (it’s also Carbonized for Mac OS X). TinyBooks 1.0 costs US$49 to register.
