The LCD2080UX sports the ability to be remotely controlled through the network via the DDC/CI, simplifying troubleshooting by system administrators. Other features include the ability to input two analog connections and a DVI-I-based digital connection simultaneously, making the display compatible with ADC-equipped Power Mac G4s with an inexpensive third party ADC to DVI adapter.
The LCD2080UX also has a thin-frame bezel design that measures 16mm on a side, along with cable management that routes wires cleanly. It features automatic black level adjustment function and “AutoBright” brightness intensity control. The LCD2080UX also has a response time of about 25ms and the ability to view the image 176 degrees horizontally and vertically.
Look for the LCD2080UX to hit stores at the end of the month for an estimated street price of US$1,599.
