Backflix.com is a new online resource for producers of TV, video, film and CD/DVD production. The service, a subsidiary of Australia-based Post FX, offers looping backgrounds, still images and other multimedia elements.

BackFlix says that all the elements were made with Macs, and are geared specifically towards Mac users who depend on Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Express, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, DVD Studio Pro and iDVD. The elements are QuickTime-based, and can work with any program that handles QuickTime.
The BackFlix Web site provides previews of the multimedia elements you can purchase, and the BackFlix e-store supports PayPal as a method of payment.
“It has become easier to make your video production have the Hollywood look and we want to make it even easier by putting great products in the hands of so many talented creative professionals,” said Post FX founder Arrol Lofton.
