iCalShare, a resource for calendars that can be used with Apple’s iCal, now lists over 1,000 calendars.
iCalShare.com offers iCalendars in the categories of business, health, holidays, Mac, politics, movies, music, radio, religion, school, science fiction, science, baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, tech, TV, Mac User Group (MUG) meetings and more. For example, the Movies category has calendars for movie release dates, DVD release dates and film festivals. You can subscribe to the calendars you like or you can download them and use them with iCal and other apps like Mozilla Calendar and Ximian Evolution.
Since there are now so many calendars, iCalShare recently debuted its own Sherlock channel, allowing Mac users to search the iCalShare calendar library using Jaguar’s Sherlock search tool.
iCal requires Mac OS X 10.2 (“Jaguar”) or later and is available now for download from Apple’s Web site.
