has released Media Transfer 3.0, a new version of the software that ships with its Standard Definition video cards. Media Transfer 3.0 is being offered as a free upgrade for registered customers.

Media Transfer enables users to capture and print content from NTSC and PAL sources, including VTR decks. You can capture sequences and individual frames, and control the VTR using an RS422 interface as well. Media Transfer 3.0 even sports an option to export to DV.
Media Transfer 3.0 sports real-time monitor support for SD-SDI broadcast monitors, and features 10-bit uncompressed and 8-bit support, along with support for YUV, RGB and RGBA formats. Media Transfer 3.0 is compatible with AES/EBU digital audio, too.
Bundled with all SD Digital Voodoo products starting today, Media Transfer 3.0 is also available for download for registered Digital Voodoo users.
