The first of the User Group University San Francisco 2003 audio files are available at The MUG Center, the online resource for Mac User Groups (MUGs). The files include the opening welcome featuring Chuck Joiner, David Roemer, Rowan Rozanski, Gail Murphy and Sandy Foderick, and the keynote address by Shawn King of Your Mac Life, the Internet show about all things Mac.
User Group University is the premiere user group event at Macworld Expo. It’s produced by the User Group Advisory Board, a small, diverse group of leaders chosen by Apple to provide ongoing feedback and advice on its user group program. The User Group Report is the audio series hosted by Chuck Joiner, editor-in-chief of The MUG Center that features interviews with people making news in the user group community. More UGU sessions will be online soon.
MUGs are good places for making new friends, finding Mac-loving buddies, boning up your technical expertise, finding solutions to technical problems, and sometimes finding a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s User Group Web page.
