RealCADD, a vector-based 2D CAD (computer assisted drawing) software package, has been updated to version 3.0. It’s available for Mac OS X, as well as the traditional Mac operating system.
RealCADD 3.0, which is made with the REALbasic editing environment from Real Software, now lets you create your own tools, rotate string, and directly draw parallels lines or polygon. It also boasts enhanced zoom tools with menus and a new “Open Recent” menu item. Round rectangles now have a fifth handle, dimensions tools can have tolerance (one or two), and when RealCADD reads a DXF file, objects on the paper space are ignored.
RealCADD 3.0 is now available for download. You can choose between English and French versions. A Windows version is also offered.
