Interarchy isn’t limited just to FTP transfers, either — the software also supports SFTP, HTTP and others. The AppleScriptable engine can resume interrupted file transfers, supports long file names, and more.
Rendezvous support is the central change in version 6.1. Rendezvous is Apple’s moniker for its open standard-based zero configuration networking technology. Introduced with Mac OS X 10.2, Rendezvous enables Macintoshes working on the same network to communicate with each other. Interarchy 6.1 enables you to discover and connect to local servers to transfer files automatically.
Interarchy 6.1 is available as a free download for evaluation, and costs US$45 for a single-user license. It’s a free update for registered 6.0 users. Interarchy runs on Mac OS 8.5 or higher, including Mac OS X.
