ArcaneWare has updated Serial Storage, its storage software for serial numbers, credit card info, passwords and other data you’d like to keep locked away until you need it again. The new version, 2.5, now uses “BlowFish” 448-bit military-strength encryption, according to the developers.

Designed for Mac OS X, Serial Storage lets you store passwords, serial numbers, and other data under lock and key. The software includes a search feature, automatic fill-in of default information and more.
The new file format afforded by the 448-bit encryption is more secure, compact and portable than previous versions, according to ArcaneWare. What’s more, the interface has undergone some improvements. A print feature has been added. Serial Storage 2.5 also supports the ability to copy an entire entry to your clipboard.
Version 2.5 is a free update for registered users; new users can register for US$10. A 30-day trial version is available for download.
