WGA Technologies has released a Mac-compatible version of its authentication client for FireBox firewall systems. FireBox is designed to protect large and medium-range corporate Local Area Networks (LANs).
The Mac version 1.0 client offers the same major features as WGA version 2 for Windows. The software works with Mac OS 8.6 or higher, according to the developer, and works on Mac OS X 10.1 or higher too.
A trial demo version of WGA Agent for Mac is available for download from WGA Technologies’ Web site. The software costs US$20 per seat for up to 50 seats; discounts in larger licenses are available.
