has updated their ecommerce products, eShox and mShox. Both are now up to version 1.3.2 and add such features as a Safari store interface theme and full compatibility with Mac OS X Server 10.2 and later.
eShox uses Apache and mySQL to offer a Mac OS X-based ecommerce solution with Web-based administration and reporting, real-time payment processing, a theme-based customizable interface, customer tracking/notification and integration with most shipping companies for real-time quotes. mShox provides similar functionality, but is specifically designed for the music industry with support for sample song tracks in QuickTime, MP3, AC3, RealPlayer and WMP formats, as well as tour info/dates and other features.
eShox and mShox version 1.3.2 offer support for multiple pricing levels for products — each product may have up to six levels of pricing. The updates also add cookie-based tracking of customers shopping cart; additional UPS shipping methods; insurance fee and packing weight for packages; and support for Canada Post and UPS Canada shipping carriers for shipments to and within Canada. eShox and mShox also feature improved shop and admin interfaces, a new one-step process for adding shop products, and enhanced multi-manufacturer and multi-product interfaces, according to the folks at Secure.CC.
Each product costs US$400, but Secure.CC is offering them for $299 apiece for a limited time. eShox and mShox are available now for download; demo versions that lack checkout, payment processing, and shipping functionality are also available at the Secure.CC Web site.
