Apple’s Macintosh Products Guide on Thursday posted a new gift guide on its Web site targeted to the Valentine’s Day shopper. Apple also posted a new promotion in the company’s Education store.
The Valentine’s Day Gift Guide features Apple and third-party products including the iPod, iLife and the 23-inch Cinema HD display, as well as products from Hewlett-Packard, Aspyr Media and Canon. Ground shipping is being provided at no extra cost — see the gift guide for more details.
Apple’s online education store is featuring a new promotion that allows anyone purchasing a new Mac and a qualifying Hewlett-Packard LaserJet printer to save up to $100. details on the promotion are available from Apple’s Web site.
Apple retail partner Sweetwater has also updated its page on Apple’s Web site with a variety of audio products including Ableton Live, Bias Peak, Glyph Companion 60GB, Roland DS-30A speakers, Tascam US-224, Emagic Logic Platinum 5.
The “Hot Deals” Web site is a place for Mac users to find special prices on hardware and software bundles from Apple’s retail partners. Apple’s online retail partners include CompUSA, MacMall, MacConnection, MacZone, J&R’s OutPost, ClubMac and the Apple Online Store. Apple’s Macintosh Products Guide is a searchable database containing thousands of Mac products. Since before the introduction of OS X in March 2001, the Products Guide has been tracking applications coming to the new operating system, in addition to those that will work with the Classic Mac OS.
