Difusi Corp. today announced on a price cut on the company’s iMac and Pro Speaker Grilles. The lower prices are effective immediately and include the company’s “clear” versions of the grilles, not the “chrome” model.
The iMac and Pro Speaker are now US$9.95 per pair, down from the previous price of $12.95 per pair.
Difusi also announced today that its recently announced “Silver Door” Power Mac G4 and eMac covers would be available by the second week in February. The covers are being sold in dual packs offering clear and chrome designs in the same package.
The grilles are designed as an aesthetic enhancement and to provide protection from wandering children’s fingers, or other foreign objects inserted to the exposed speaker on the front of Power Mac G4s of the Quicksilver design, according to Michael Wright, president and CEO of Difusi. Included in the package is a self-adhesive neoprene gasket that holds the grille in place without glue.
Difusi yesterday announced its intention to produce an audio appliance that utilizes the Bluetooth wireless spectrum to distribute digitally encoded audio streams to a decoding application. Difusi President Michael Wright said the company’s appliance has been developed to accept audio streams from a variety of Bluetooth compliant devices such as cell phones, personal computers, MP3 players and others.
