SilverNetworks — which makes, publishes, and distributes freeware and shareware software — has released the final version (1.0) of Spy, an online snapshot tool for the Mac.

Spy is a remote screen capture tool that allows people to see your screen, as well as information about your Mac. They can view at a normal static image, or they can look at your screen, live, in real-time. You can also choose whether to use JPEG or PNG as your image format, and specify picture quality too.
Other Spy features include two built-in layouts and custom layout support. There’s also a Live Connection manager that lets you see everyone who’s viewing your desktop live, as well as disconnect any of those users.
Spy a free product and now available for download. It’s compatible with Mac OS X, as well as Mac OS 7.6 – 9.2.2.
