With EasyFractal, you can calculate fractals based on the Mandelbrot and Julia Sets. You can zoom in real-time up to 10 billion percent, and you can calculate 8 different iteration functions with freely selectable parameters.
New features include an expanded editor that offers six escape conditions for each of the eight iteration functions. You can also indicate maximum and minimum radius as well as the eccentricity. Fine structure function is now controlled via three oscillators and six forms of color progression and the palette editor has been revised with more functions.
EasyFractal 3.0 is available for Mac OS 8.1 or higher, with separate “Carbon” (8.6 and later, including X) and “Classic” (8.1 – 9.x) versions available for download. Distributed as shareware, registration costs US$20. Upgrades from EasyFractal 2.x cost $10.
