Weblogging, or “blogging,” has become an enormously popular way for regular folks to share ideas or publish their thoughts to the world at large. However, without a fairly detailed understanding of how to generate scripts or use sophisticated databases, it’s been a pretty daunting challenge to set up a blog.
iBlog takes the guesswork out of blogging by offering Jaguar users an interface to manage their blog entries and interface. You can create and manage multiple blogs and categories using iBlog, then preview them on your own local hard disk before publishing them. iBlog incorporates support for one-click uploading of the blog to your .Mac iDisk account (or another WebDAV-based account), and also provides FTP upload access. You can also even use iBlog to e-mail friends and associated with whom you’d like to share your iBlog entries.
iBlog 1.0 has been released in a “trial version” that will expire in 31 days. Beginning February 20, 2003, Lifli Software will begin selling registration codes for iBlog for US$19.
