Apple will be offering a 20 percent discount on the iLife suite to all those attending the next iDay seminar, which takes place this Saturday, February 8, in Palo Alto, California.
iLife is Apple’s US $49 product bundle that includes iTunes 3, iPhoto 2, iMovie 3, and iDVD 3. iDay 2003 is a series of one-day seminars that focus on Apple’s iLife suite, as well as the iPod, iCal, iSync, and other products such as Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, and Adobe Photoshop. Saturday’s iLife attendees will receive a coupon that enables them to purchase iLife at the Apple store in Palo Alto.
This Saturday’s iDay 2003 will also feature a guest speaker: Joe Lambert, cofounder of the Center for Digital Storytelling in Berkeley, California. He’ll speak on the power of digital storytelling and on the capabilities that the Mac and iLife software bring to storytellers.
The Palo Alto session will be an eight-hour seminar, held at the Hyatt Rickeys. Registration is US$99, but a 50 percent discount is offering to Mac User Group members. iDay is produced by Avondale Media; sponsors include Macworld magazine, Hewlett-Packard, Roxio, Econ Technologies, Sonic Desktop Software, El Gato Software, iPodlounge, Creative Pro, and Peachpit Press.
