Adam Engst, the author and editor of the Tidbits electronic newsletter and Macworld magazine contributing editor, will be visiting two Mac groups in the New York metro area next week.
He’ll be the guest of the Metropolitan New York Macintosh Alliance in New York City on Thursday, February 13. On Friday, February 14, Engst will be in Old Westbury for the monthly meeting of the Long Island Macintosh User Group.
MetroMac meets at 6:30 p.m. in Room 804 of the New York University “Silver” Building at the corner of Waverly Place & Washington Place in Manhattan. Besides his Tidbits work, Engst is the author of several Mac books, including “The Wireless Networking Starter Kit” and “iPhoto 1.1 for Mac OS X: Visual QuickStart Guide,” as well as a contributing editor for Macworld Magazine. At the user group meetings, he’ll be discussing the announcements made at last month’s Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, California, especially AirPort Extreme.
