Willow Design has announced four new slipcases specifically designed for the new 12-inch PowerBook. They range from the “minimalist” Ashcroft to the expandable Courtenay and McLeese slipcases, according to Willow Design President Nigel Peck.

The US$61 Ashcroft Sylph slipcase offers the smallest possible package for your 12-inch Powerbook, while still offering a measure of protection, Peck said. Two outer pockets provides space for accessories, while the shortened protective flap allows access while the Sylph is in a carrying sack or backpack. The $80 Nelson slipcase is lightweight and compact with an “end” opening designed to offer convenience for those using it with a top opening pack.
The $79 Courtenay slipcase is built to be more flexible and expandable, offering components for stashing power supply and cord and some accessories. The McLeese slipcase, also $79, offers the same benefits as the Courtenay, but has a vertical configuration designed to minimize the volume taken for tight commuting.
All the slipcases feature Willow’s lifetime guarantee, as do their other 30 cases devoted to Apple products. More info can be found at the product Web site.
