Transmit 2.3, a new version of their FTP client software for Mac OS X. The new version sports improved support for Rendezvous, Apple’s zero-configuration networking technology, and more.

Rendezvous is Apple’s moniker for an open networking standard supported by Mac OS X 10.2, “Jaguar.” It enables Macs and other Rendezvous-savvy computers and networkable hardware to automatically find each other on a network without requiring you to configure IP addresses or do anything else.
Panic noted that Transmit 2.3 also corrects “a rare problem” that prevented some users of earlier 2.x versions from uploading; supports Strato FTP servers; adds a user-defineable preference for what happens when a file is double-clicked, and more.
Transmit 2.3 is a free update for registered 2.x users. Upgrading from 1.x will cost you US$16.95; the full registration fee is $24.95.
