Nemetschek North America has updated its entire line of VectorWorks products to version 10.1. The new versions are available on CD-ROM for a nominal fee, and will also be available the week of February 17 as a download from the Nemetschek Web site.

Nemetschek’s VectorWorks line includes VectorWorks, RenderWorks, Architect, Landmark and Mechanical. They’re a series of computer-aided design (CAD) products aimed at mechanical engineers, architects, landscape architects, site designers, presenters and others, and they run natively in Mac OS X.
The 10.1 updates sport improved functionality, new capabilities and greater stability, according to the developer. What’s more, the 10.1 update also provides the basis for localized international versions of Vectorworks 10.
The U.S./International English version is what’s being released next week, according to Nemetschek. The company has set up a special Web page to accept CD-ROM orders and to distribute the download, which will go online starting February 17.
