Snowmint Creative Solutions LLC on Wednesday released an update to the company’s personal finance tool, Budget, bringing the current version to 3.3.3 for Mac OS X. This release adds simplified date entry, searchable help, a multiple envelope debit transaction, and various bug fixes.
The company also made available Budget Planner as a standalone application for US$12.95. The long-term planner is built into Budget and allows users to answer questions about their financial goals — you can change the inflation rate, interest rate, and savings goals.
Budget allows users to obligate their money for future expenses, track where they’ve spent their money in the past, and stick to a budget. The product can also track a stock portfolio, help balance a checkbook and print checks on any printer.
Budget 3.3.3 is a free upgrade for current customers. Budget for Mac OS X, regularly US$29.95, is on sale for the remainder of the month of February for US$24.95.
