Apple will open its first direct management store in Japan — at Ginza, Tokyo — this fall, according to a Nikkei Net article.
Supposedly, the store will be 100 square meters and have the white decor similar to the Apple retail stores in the U.S. The fashionable Ginza area was chosen instead of the renown Akihabara electronics district in order to attract a broader clientele.
General consumers will be targeted with the new store and products may be marketed in different ways to particular types of users. A variety of free lectures may also be offered.
