LAJ Design has released Quickie Web Albums version 3.0, the latest version of the cross-platform application for creating custom Web photo and movie albums.
The application allows you to add a description for images or movies, pick from different album types, set image options and more. Quickie Web Albums 3.0 adds user comments (so visitors can leave comments); the ability to watermark full-size images or thumbnails or both; a beta FTP upload option (with mini FTP client); code to load saved album files when you double click the file; and options to set spanning link text for Previous, Page and Next options. There’s also enhanced optimization of the watermarking and improved image rotation, according to LAJ Design.
Version 3 is a free update for registered users of versions 1 and 2. Quickie Web Albums is shareware and costs US$23 to purchase. A fully functional demo version, which expires after 45 days, is available in both Mac OS 8/9 and Mac OS X versions. QuickTime is required if you want to use image types other than JPEG for products and for movies.
