Billed as version 1.32f, Civ3Edit requires you to upgrade your copy of Civilization III to the 1.21 version (that patch is also available for download from Macgamefiles.com. The editor requires you to place it in the same folder as the Civilization III application itself after being unstuffed — it won’t work otherwise.
Civilization III is the latest Mac installment of the legendary strategy game series created by Sid Meier. It’s your job to lead your own human civilization to technological and social superiority through diplomatic finesse, cultural domination or military prowess, as you discover new technologies, take on great leaders from other civilizations, and build your people’s empire across lands and oceans.
Although Civilization III itself runs on Mac OS 8.6 or higher, this editor — as promised by MacSoft — runs only in Mac OS X. Civ3Edit is being released as a free application for anyone that already owns Civilization III. System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.1 or later, G3/300MHz or faster (500MHz or faster recommended) and 128MB RAM.
