Netlock Enterprise Security Suite is designed to keep enterprise networks secure from hacking and electronic eavesdropping, while providing access control to systems like application servers and mail servers. The Netlock Enterprise Security Suite comprises five individual components: Netlock Manager, Netlock Agent, Netlock Gateway, Netlock Auditor and Netlock Guardian.
It works in wired and wireless networking systems via IPSec protocols, and on local area networks and across the Internet. The software features automatic key management, authentication using X509v3 certificates, port filtering, adjustable key lifetimes, interoperability with other VPN and PKI solutions, and more.
Version 5.0 adds “Netlock Guardian,” a hardware appliance designed to provide plug-and-play secure access for any network device. And while previous versions of Netlock have supported “Classic” Mac OS, this new version adds Mac OS X support too, along with Windows XP and 64-bit Solaris and HP-UX operating systems.
