Apple released an update for Mac OS X Server, bringing the current version of the company’s server software to 10.2.4. The update offers enhanced functionality and improved reliability.
According to information provided with the update version 10.2.4 improves AFP, SMB and NFS file services; DHCP; NetBoot; Open Directory; QuickTime Streaming Server; Sendmail; and Workgroup Manager.
In addition the update prevents Xserve drives from being unmounted while locked, provides Digest authentication for WebDAV, management of Energy Saver settings, and support for NetBoot images greater than 2GB in size. The update also provides the latest Security Updates.
Mac OS X Server 10.2.4 can be downloaded via the Software Update Control or from
Apple’s Web site.
