Rendezvous is Apple’s zero-configuration networking technology, introduced with Mac OS X 10.2 “Jaguar.” With Rendezvous support, GameSmith players on the same LAN can find each other without having to resort to manipulating network settings. Chat coloring is now offered, along with enhanced preferences, an Away from Keyboard (AFK) feature, numerous bug fixes and more.
GameSmith supports Freeverse’s various board and card games, along with networkable action titles like Burning Monkey Puzzle Lab and Strange Flavour’s AirBurst (distributed in North America by Freeverse). GameSmith integrates a mySQL database that enables users to track statistics like rank, rating, total wins and losses.
