Tim McDonough, Microsoft’s director of marketing for the Macintosh Business Unit, will talk about what the Microsoft/Connectix deal means for Mac users on tonight’s edition of
Your Mac Life, the Internet show about all things Mac.
Microsoft announced that they had acquired
Connectix Corp.’s Virtual PC products, including Virtual PC for Mac, Virtual PC for Windows and Virtual Server. Microsoft also hired many of the Connectix employees that worked on the products to continue development.
Also on tonight’s YML will be columnist-writer Andy Ihnatko to explain what “blogging” is, how it started and how you can get involved. John Welch of WorkingMac.com, MacTech.com and MacJournals.com will have another edition of GeekSpeak. This week, he’ll explain what RAID is and why Apple’s new Xserve RAID is so important.
And, as always, my MacCentral’s Peter Cohen will be on hand with all the latest Mac gaming news. Have questions for any of tonight’s guests?
E-mail them to YML producer-host Shawn King.
