iDVDthemePAK.com has released two new collections of menu themes for Apple’s recently updated iDVD 3.0 software. Each collection contains eight menu themes, and are the third and fourth editions to be released by iDVDthemePAK.com.

iDVD is the DVD mastering component of Apple’s suite of iLife applications. Mac users whose systems use DVD-R-compatible “SuperDrives” can use iDVD to create their own DVDs that can be played back in most consumer DVD decks. iDVD 3 includes tighter integration than ever with other iLife applications like iPhoto, iMovie and iTunes, along with other new capabilities.
The new themePAKs are the first to be optimized for iDVD 3, so they’re the first to support Apple’s “Drop Zones” capability, introduced with the new version of iDVD. Each theme includes custom button designs and composite graphic backgrounds, with six motion themes and two still background themes.
What’s more, iDVDthemePAK.com makes available free themes — one is available for download now; the other is available if you buy both new themePAKs together.
iDVDthemePAK themes are simple to install, according to the developer, and are accessed through the same menu as pre-installed themes. You can preview the themes’ backgrounds by viewing them on the iDVDthemePAK.com Web site.
Each iDVDthemePAK costs US$29. Both Pak 3 and 4 can be purchased together for $54, and all four are available for $99. They’re all NTSC and PAL compatible. System requirements for the new paks call for iDVD 3.0 or later and Mac OS X.
